  • I grew up on a corn and soybean farm in central Illinois. My mom was out in the field as much as my dad, so we grew up eating, sleeping, and doing homework in tractor/combine cabs.

    It was an incredible childhood.

    At 19, my blood boiled when I read negative press about the ag industry. I started creating content, taking photos, and overlaying ag facts and quotes on top. It was revolutionary at a time when social media was primarily text. ;) That content went viral on my Facebook page “Keeping it Real: Through the Lens of a Farm Girl”.

    It launched my career.

    I spent my early 20s traveling across the country photographing farmers and ranchers for agencies, brands, and other ag organizations. Had the time of my life.

    In my late 20s, after having my first child, I launched my own stock photo site to sell the thousands of photos just sitting on my hard drive. I knew the industry was desperate for good stock imagery. I wanted to put my images to work. And with a growing family, I didn’t want to spend as much time on the road.

    In the last 5 years, that little stock site has grown into Real Ag Stock. It has been an absolute joy to view life through our photographers’ lenses, to watch them grow, celebrate wins, and help them make a little extra money along the way.

    The selection of authentic ag imagery on typical stock sites always frustrated me as a farm girl and professional communicator. So I started following my family around, taking photos and videos of them at work whenever my company needed imagery we didn’t have on-hand.

    Contributing to Real Ag Stock lights a fire in me because I know my work helps ag companies better represent today‘s farmers and ranchers. Because this unique way of life is best captured by those who live it - not models posing in waders in a wheat field.

 FAQs

    1. Submit your photos through an upload link.

    2. We’ll handle resizing, watermarking, uploading, and adding your content to the site.

    3. You’ll be paid by the 15th of every month for content downloaded the previous month or at the end of each subscription period.

  • We split gross revenue 50/50 with contributors, meaning you get 50% of the purchase price of your content. The other 50% pays for site expenses, fees, and time needed to organize, upload, keyword, and categorize your images.

    Additionally, if you sell content through our affiliate program, you will also receive 10% commission on all sales you directed to the site.

  • Yes, of course. You can sell prints, products, and your own digitals. The only restriction is you cannot submit these photos to other stock sites.

  • You can upload through the portal anytime. Most contributors send new photos as they have them.

  • There is no minimum or maximum, but we prefer batches of at least 50.
